It’s mornings like this one that makes me feel so blessed to be doing something I love. Kellie, Issa, Isabella and new baby Kylah came to the studio today for a family session. It’s not often that things go so perfectly … Isabella was a very good sport (completely deserving that ice cream with gummy bears in my opinion) and even Kylah was completely cooperative. LOVE LOVE LOVE these photos. Hope you guys do too.

Jeremy and Tracie were married Saturday surrounded by family and friends at the Orchard Creek Lodge in Lincoln, CA. We had rain, but coming down at the perfect time just as we were wrapping up photos by the fountain. Magical is the best word to describe this weekend spent with Emily and JD’s family in the San Juan Islands. It was storybook perfect and so so so beautiful. They all just made us feel like part of the family. Three days and I couldn’t stop shooting! Roche Harbor, San Juan Islands October 14, 2009
Jim and I just returned from one of the most magical places we’ve ever been. Wasn’t sure if I would be able to get him on the plane back home. We shot Emily and JD’s wedding up there and WOW. AH MA ZING. At one point, we were walking down the cobble stone path and Jim asked when the Electric Light Parade was going to start. It was like Disneyland without the throngs of people and rides. Definitely one of the top ten places we’ve ever been. Check out photos from Roche Harbor. I’ll be posting some from the wedding in a few days.
