It just doesn’t seem possible. Have I really been married for close to half my life? It’s true….Thankfully it’s flying by and really has been one adventure after another with many more to come, I’m sure.
Jim and I celebrated with a quick getaway up to Tahoe. We went to a little retro place called Ferrari’s Crown Motel in Kings Beach. www.tahoecrown.com We had a little fireplace and a nice view of the lake. Speaking of said view, what a difference a day makes! Day one, no snow. Day two, lots of snow. I think I get “good sport” points being that I’m a total spring skiier and it was snowing quite hard for most of the day. We also spent more time than we’d like to admit, assembling a jigsaw puzzle. Oh to be married 18 years! hahah
Okay, so maybe I don’t really deserve the “good sport” points for skiing in light snow but there’s gotta be some kind of points for 18 years of marriage, still being able to laugh your heads off together and knowing, you’d do it all over again in a heartbeat! Happy Anniversary my sweet honey!
Just got back from a much needed winter break with the family! We had so much fun getting together with family from Texas, Georgia and Las Vegas. Why I didn’t take a group photo is beyond me. We rung in the New Year eating (of course) and playing my new favorite game “Catch Phrase” ( I must have that game!)
