It’s mornings like this one that makes me feel so blessed to be doing something I love.  Kellie, Issa, Isabella and new baby Kylah came to the studio today for a family session. It’s not often that things go so perfectly … Isabella was a very good sport (completely deserving that ice cream with gummy bears in my opinion) and even Kylah was completely cooperative.  LOVE LOVE LOVE these photos.  Hope you guys do too. 

I had so much fun with Erica and her Mom running around Roseville taking her senior photos.  With a  combo of nature, urban and studio we covered it all. I had to stop when my card couldn’t hold another image! She’s just that cute. Enjoy your photos Erica and cherish your last year of High School!

Jeremy and Tracie were married Saturday surrounded by family and friends at the Orchard Creek Lodge in Lincoln, CA.  We had rain, but coming down at the perfect time just as we were wrapping up photos by the fountain. The had a beautifully decorated room by MIMI & CO www.mimiandcompany.com  with lighting and entertainment by Creative Memories www.creativememoriesdj.com  Mike kept the party going with videos and slideshows and really got everyone up and dancing until the end.  Happiness to you both!

Magical is the best word to describe this weekend spent with Emily and JD’s family in the San Juan Islands. It was storybook perfect and so so so beautiful. They all just made us feel like part of the family. Jim and I just returned from one of the most magical places we’ve ever been. Wasn’t sure if I would be able to get him on the plane back home. We shot Emily and JD’s wedding up there and WOW. AH MA ZING.  At one point, we were walking down the cobble stone path and Jim asked when the Electric Light Parade was going to start.  It was like Disneyland without  the throngs of people and rides.  Definitely one of the top ten places we’ve ever been. We loved everything about this day.  Beautiful weather,  amazing people. What else can I ask for? They were married at Mulvaney’s in Sacramento and WOW.  The food.  Fresh, local, delicious. Check out some of my favorite wedding photos of the year.

Congratulations to Sheridan and Dianna … they’re  adding to their family.  They came into the studio along with their sassy lady (their nickname, not mine but very cute ..none the less) for a family portrait and to document their coming miracle.

Libby and Davood are getting married in February so we got a jump start on the engagement session. We had a really good time going around midtown snapping here and there.  Aren’t they super cute? Can’t wait for their wedding.
